From here, the recording can be published to students via Moodle. For a step by step guide please see the Lecturecast Resource Centre. Please note that you should not upload teaching content which will be accessed via Moodle on to Mediacentral, as this is not supported and the student experience may not be as expected. To get started: Log into zoom.

Access your recordings Local recordings When you record Zoom meetings locally, each meeting recording is saved on your desktop device to its own folder labeled with the date, time, and meeting name. Recording file types Meeting recordings consist of raw Zoom files, converted video files, and plain text chat logs; the chat recording and main meeting recording are separate.
Back up local recordings UITS recommends backing up recordings stored on your local computer to one of IU's file storage systems.
Please note that ICT do not give users access to folders or administer the recordings contained within them. It is the responsibility of the content owner Creator to organise access to Panopto content folders. You can set up automatic routing rules for any recurring Zoom meeting ID. This directs the recorded Zoom session to a specified folder.
The folder may be shared with other users in advance, so meetings will be automatically available to those users. Panopto users may also specify the default folder for their Zoom recordings when advanced routing rules are not set. Note : This folder mapping will only work if the Panopto user with the mapping is also the primary host of the Zoom meeting ID used. Folder mapping will not work if a co-host or alternate host of a Zoom meeting requests it.

All participants and hosts will be required to sign into a Zoom account prior to joining meetings hosted by UC Berkeley.
When you lock a Zoom Meeting after it has started, no new participants can join, even if they have the meeting ID and password if you have required one. This setting can be found via the security icon in the settings bar. In-meeting file transfer allows people to share files through the in-meeting chat.
Turn this off to keep the chat from getting unwanted content. You and your attendees can doodle and mark up content together using annotations during screen share. You can disable the annotation feature in your Zoom settings to prevent people from using it. Zoom has in-meeting chat for everyone or participants can message each other privately. This prevents anyone from getting messages during the meeting. Zoom requires all meetings to use a waiting room or passcode. When attendees join a meeting, place them in a waiting room and require the host to admit them individually.
Enabling the waiting room automatically disables the setting for allowing attendees to join before host. The UC Berkeley Zoom team recommends using local recordings by default.
