Then re-inmvite them from their employee screen within Payroll. My employee however was not listed as a user asd they never got the original email, so;. If you go to the Payroll menu, select Employees. From your list try and click the box to the left of their name. What no one has quite explained when you are unable to untick the invite is you are viewing the individual employee, you need to exit this screen. Go to the full employee list by selecting Payroll and then Employee - This gives you a list of all staff with a box to the left of each persons name that you can then tick, scroll back to the top and then resend the invite.
In this instance you need to go into the individual in the user settings and remove their "employee access". Once you have done this click the payroll tab and then employees. This will list everyone you need to tick the box to the left of the person you want to re-invite then scroll back up to the top and the "Invite to My Payroll" should now be available.
I've tried to do that too. With no luck, the option to select an employee doesn't work. Is there a definitive answer for this issue? I am fairly certain most of my employees have never accessed My Payroll. When I try to resend the invitation it says that there is another employee with the email address.
Slightly worried that if I delete access under user settings that I won't be able to reinstate the user at all. If the boxes to select the employee are grayed out, it's usually because there is no email entered on the employee record.
Invite your employees into Xero Me so they can keep track of their payroll information in the app. Invite payroll employees into Xero Me You need payroll admin access to invite an employee to view their payroll information. Optional Give the employee permission to approve leave requests and timesheets. Once they accept the invite from Xero and set up their login details with MFA , they can access their payroll details.

Contact Xero support Raise a case with our support team. Select the checkbox next to the employee you want to invite. Click Invite to My Payroll. Select an employee. In the Payroll section, click Remove employee access. About user roles Removing an employee's access to My Payroll and Xero Me means: They won't be able to see their payroll information through the employee portal. In Payroll, go to Employees. Find the employee you want to resend the invite to, tick the box to the left of their name.
Scroll back to the top of the list and there is a button to "Invite to Payroll". Hi Catherine, unfortunately they aren't showing as users as they've never activated the link. I tried that solution from your previous thread I'm afraid. If you go into users under the Advanced section, and delete them as a user and then resend them the link it should work. I have two members of staff that have never accepted their invite to payroll.
It now won't let me re-invite them. I've tried removing the email, saving and adding again but to no avail One of them found the old link in their emails but the link has expired. I can't delete their user profile from the settings as they aren't showing, possibly because they've never accepted the invite.
Please help! I've had a similar problem. One employee can't access his payslip so I've tried sending a new invite, Xero won't let you, I followed the advice above and Xero still won't send an invite.
So now what? I've had the same problem with an employee who says he hasn't received the invite I have tried removing email address, saving it and then re-entering it, still doesn't allow you to resend. Or they could log on to webmail on the new phone and retrieve the previous invite?
